A little guide for grown-ups
Letter Post practises letter names and matching on a QWERTY keyboard. Tap a key on screen or press the same letter on your keyboard. The First-sound Trail links a spoken word to its first letter. Say the word together and listen to its beginning; letter names and sounds are different.
In the picnic, tap each apple once and count aloud as it joins the packed apples. Then ask how many there are altogether. A second tap never counts an apple twice.
Number Delivery practises the number row above the letters and the numeric keypad. Count the apples in the tray, type the number, then press Enter or Check. Use Backspace to erase. Choose 1–10 above to practise typing two digits for ten. The on-screen keys work on touchscreens too.
Letter Trails practises capital letters A–Z. Choose a letter on the drawing board, watch a stroke, then trace from the numbered dot and lift at the end. Lifting early is fine: the dot waits where you left off. Tracing always uses capitals, independently of the letter matching setting.
Letter Pairs brings a capital letter and its small letter together, such as A and a. It always shows both cases. Start with two pairs, then choose a larger board when they are ready: up to twelve pairs and twenty-four cards. Have a peek together whenever you like; peeking does not earn a match. Different cards stay visible until your child is ready to turn them back. Each new board brings the next letters in the alphabet.
Shape Builders explores circles, triangles, squares and rectangles. Colour Garden practises sorting by a shared attribute. Pattern Parade starts with alternating patterns, then tries two-and-one and three-part repeats. Say each sequence together and spot what repeats.
Try a few familiar letters first. Keep it playful and finish whenever your child is ready. The optional Letter Post timer offers a clue when time runs out; there are no lost lives, accounts or saved scores. After a correct answer, the spoken prompt finishes and a 3, 2, 1 countdown moves on. Press Space to continue sooner, or turn automatic progression off above. Badges last until this page is reloaded.
The activities include spoken prompts. Turn Voice off to play quietly. No microphone or speech recording is used.
